She would like to move away from Manchester eventually. She has a younger sister and gets on well with her mum, who she is very close to and open with. Christina has talked to her mum about contraception, STIs and AIDS, and even asked her mum to go with her to the Family Planning Clinic when she wanted to go on the pill. She is very knowledgeable about these things thanks to her open relationship with her mum - the formal sex education she received was good, covering conception and contraception, but there was nothing on how to navigate relationships. She had no AIDS education at school, but learnt about it through TV programmes and the news. Christina thought these were good as they expressed how serious it was. She does not consider herself to be at risk of AIDS, but does think that women who sleep around a lot without using protection would be. She has only had one sexual partner, and they were each others first sexual debuts, and Christina has been very assertive in using protection. Her and her partner are planning on get engaged at the end of the year, despite others' worries that she is too young. 2020-03-04 11:06:00 Family life Parental attitude Sex Education AIDS disease First sex Relationships Sexual pleasure Condom use Contraception Risk Aspiration Students (college) Family Planning Clinic White British Working class No religion Sociology Sociology not elsewhere classified
