Katrina Sa'ade writes to the Patriarch of the Orthodox Christian Church in Jerusalem regarding her separation from her husband Suleiman Farhat. Katrina voices the injustice she has faced as a result of her husband's deceitful actions and asks the Church for help in resolving the matter with Suleiman, who was now living in Ramallah with his family. Katrina asks the Patriarch for the Church's position on the treatment of women by men and questions whether it is permissible for a man to marry a women in every country he visits. She ends the letter comparing this disposable treatment of women to the replacement of old clothes with a new 'suit' when one wears out.
