The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.<div><br></div><div>Katrina Sa'ade writes to her parents Abdullah and Mariam Sa'ade in response to their letters about George Farhat (Katrina and Suleiman's son) who was still living with Suleiman in Ramallah, Palestine at the time. Katrina explains her difficulties trying to obtain a passport for George in order for him to be able travel to California. She notes that she had to go to Mexico to organise this, as it was where George was born. She also discusses the next steps to be taken and emphasizes that their plan must be concealed from Suleiman. Katrina explains how her siblings in Mexico have aided her efforts. The letter was sent on 'Arizona Dollar Store' letter headed paper which indicates Katrina was probably still running the business that she owned with her husband.</div><div><br></div><div>These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.</div>
