The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny. <div><br></div><div>This is a fragment of a letter from Jiryes Farhat to his son Suleiman asking for money to pay a ploughman to plough their land in Ramallah, Palestine. Issa Farhat works as a scribe and also states that he is unhappy with the quality of pens Suleiman sent him. See 'relation' for another letter in which Issa asks Suleiman for new pens. </div><div><br></div><div>These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.</div>
