The image depicts a family in Bethlehem, dressed in local attire. Various forms of Bethlehem headdress can be seen in the image, from the women's cone-shaped shatweh, to the older men's turbans, to the boy's tarbush.

This image exists as part of the Bethlehem People and Places collection within the Library of Congress project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
