This is a digital reproduction of an image held in the Library of Congress.

The photograph depicts the interior of the Church of Saint Catherine in Bethlehem. The church is located north of the Church of the Nativity on the West Bank in the Palestinian Territories. It is a parish church and Franciscan monastery with a series of caves under the temple. This is a cropped version of the original held at the Library of Congress.

This image exists as part of the Nativity Church collection within the Library of Congress project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
