The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

In this letter George Farhat writes to his mother Katrina Sa'ade from Bethlehem. George tells his mother that he has escaped to his grandparents' house to Bethlehem (Abdullah and Mariam Sa'ade - Katrina's parents). George asks Katrina to send money for clothes and his passage to America as he plans to return to his mother in California. He also describes the abuse he has experienced at the hands of his father. See 'relation' for more letters on this topic.

These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
