Halima Batma (from Battir) interviewed by Isam al-Batma on 15 July 2005.
She discusses the following: the Ottoman period, Britain Mandate and Israeli occupation; injustice of Ottoman rule and how bad the year of the locusts was; British Mandate was very bad and resembled Israeli rule in many ways; how they hid Abd al-Qader al-Husseini when he was being hunted by the British during the Arab Revolt of 1936-39.
