The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

In this letter Jiryes Farhat's pleads with his son Suleiman Farhat to return to Ramallah, Palestine with or without Katrina. He criticises Katrina's family, the Sa'ades, citing the example of the Sa'ade sisters habit of divorcing their husbands as evidence of their poor character. He discusses finances and reveals that Katrina sent money to her family to mend her family home after it was damaged in the 1927 earthquake. At this stage Suleiman and Katrina were living in California, US with their children. Issa Farhat scribes.

These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
