The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

In this letter Jiryes Farhat, writes to his son Suleiman pleading with him to return from California to the family farm in Ramallah, Palestine, with Katrina and the children. Jiryes outlines the rich agricultural production of the land and how hard he must work to keep it in good health. He states that they do not need money, they just want to spend time with him and the children as he has been gone for so long and they are getting old. He says that 400 people have recently returned from America to the homeland.

These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
