The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

In this letter Katrina Sa'ade writes to her husband Suleiman Farhat. Katrina was living in Ramallah with Suleiman's parents and Mary, Fred and George (Katrina and Suleiman's children) whilst Suleiman was living and working at their shop in California. Katrina asks Suleiman to send money for food and their children's education and clothes and notes that she is worried about them missing school and forgetting what they have learnt. Katrina adds a small message at the bottom of the letter, possibly a song, expressing her emotions at this turbulent time of her life.

These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
