Mariam al-Khoury Elias Awwad (90 years old, born in 1915, from Beit Sahour) interviewed by Ali Abd Rabu on 27 June 2005.

She discusses the following: how unjust Ottoman rule was; year of the locusts and how they used to catch and kill them by burning them; living conditions improved during the British Mandate through funding for public works.
