This is a digital reproduction of an image held in the Library of Congress.

The image depicts three men dressed in traditional Bedouin attire riding camels near Bethlehem. The photograph appears to have been staged to recreate the scene of the three wise men making their way to Bethlehem.

This image exists as part of the Nativity Scenes collection within the Library of Congress project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
