Naji Abdullah Muhammad (106 years old) interviewed by Firas al-Jaraiseh.
He discusses the following: locust plague of 1915 and the drought of 1916; when the locusts came they destroyed everything and left the people with no food; people used to eat the locusts which he describes as delicious (2 different ways to eat them); Ottoman military conscription; conditions improved when the British came.
