The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

In this letter Suleiman Farhat informs his father Jiryes Farhat, that his wife Katrina Sa'ade and the children have departed for Ramallah, Palestine with their three children. He warns Jiryes that Katrina is a 'ball of fire' and is deeply unhappy about the move. He implores Jiryes to treat Katrina extremely well and to make her happy in Ramallah as the voyage was very expensive and he will loose everything if Katrina decides to return. Julia Kabande (Katrina's first child from her first marriage) stayed behind to live with Katrina's sister in California.

These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
