This is a digital reproduction of an image held at the Library of Congress.

This photograph shows the sun streaming into the interior of the Church of the Nativity through the columns which exist around the nave. The columns display artworks which depicts saints and religious figures. Although largely faded now, the columns are protected to maintain this artwork.

This image exists as part of the Nativity Church collection within the Library of Congress project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
