Brazilian and North American slavery propagandas: some thoughts on difference

The first comparative study to consider the key elements differentiating Brazilian approaches to slavery propganda from those of Europe and the rest of the Americas. Special attention is paid to the importance of photography and carnival to the development of the Brazilian anti slavery movement.
