Employment and the Lisbon Strategy
The aim of this chapter is to examine the way the conceptualization and implementation of the EES has changed since its launch back in the late 1990s, examining the impact of the Lisbon Agenda on the operation of the EES. To this end, the chapter provides both a longitudinal and critical analysis of the EES pre and post Lisbon.
