Jabra Ghabar (from Beit Jala) is interviewed by Victoria Abkrian - 1995.

Discusses life during the Ottoman period, World War I and the British Mandate; talks about the great snow of 1920; discusses the earthquake of 1927 and how it destroyed people's houses; 4 people from Beit Jala died in the earthquake as well as some people in Bethlehem; living conditions were very hard, people lived off their land.
