The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

In this letter Jiryes Farhat writes to his son Suleiman Farhat with 'his side of the story' during the tumultuous period in which Katrina and the children had moved to Ramallah to live with Jiryes and his wife Miriam. Suleiman was at the time living and working in California and receiving two very different accounts of events via a steady flow of letters from Katrina and Jiryes. See 'relation' for Katrina's accusations against the Farhats. Letter scribed by Issa Farhat.

These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
