Jiryes Farhat to Suleiman Farhat, 1933

The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

In this letter Jiryes Farhat writes to his son Suleiman Farhat who was living in California managing his and Katrina's shop. At this stage Katrina Sa'ade had recently moved to Ramallah with three of their children to live with Jiryes and his wife Miriam. Jiryes notes that he and the family are looking after Katrina and the children, and references their Arabic tutoring. Issa Farhat scribes.
