The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.
This is a letter from Jiryes Farhat to his son Suleiman in California complaining about Suleiman's wife Katrina Sa'ade. Jiryes notes there was tension between Katrina and Suleiman's sister Hilweh Farhat and claims that Katrina's family have been gossiping about the Farhats. See 'relation' for more letters from this turbulent period in October 1933.
