The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

Mariam Sa'ade (Katrina Sa'ade's mother) writes to Katrina from Palestine and recounts how her son George Farhat fled to the Sa'ade family in Bethlehem after the abuse he experienced at his father's family home. She also notes that Suleiman announced that their marriage is illegitimate in the eyes of the Church and that he plans to 'get rid of her'.

These images exist as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
