The images are a digital reproduction of a handwritten letter and accompanying translation donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.
In this letter Zeina Ghutass (Katrina Sa'ade's sister) and their mother Mariam Sa'ade write to Katrina from Mexico. They note that they are in the process of moving back to Palestine, and ask how Katrina is after her separation from her second husband Suleiman Farhat. Zeina notes their success in business back in Mexico and offers Katrina a partnership in the business. While only the day and month (28 April) is written on the letter, the comment on Katrina and Suleiman's separation means the year was likely 1934 when Katrina moved back to California.
