The image is a digital reproduction of a sepia photograph donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

The image depicts Katrina Sa'ade (right), her older sister Jamila (middle) and younger sister Nusa (left). After the death of her first husband and daughter in Mexico, 1916, Katrina went to live with Jamila in Long Beach, California, to help in their shop 'The Holy City Bazaar'.

This image exists as part of the Sa'ade Family collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
