This photograph depicts three religious men standing inside the Church of the Nativity, one of whom is sweeping the floor. The image shows the intricate and ornate decoration in the interior. The church is believed to have been built around the birthplace of Jesus Christ, emphasising its importance for many religions.

This image exists as part of the Nativity Church collection within the Library of Congress project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
