The image is a digital reproduction of a handwritten postcard donated by Kathy Sa'ade Kenny.

The postcard is dated August 1935 and it was sent by Suleiman Farhat to his wife Katrina Sa'ade in Ramallah. The postcard was written en route to Palestine when he moved back in 1935. The front of the postcard depicts a ship, probably the one that Suleiman travelled on. This is one of the untranslated Arabic letters in the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection.

The image exists as part of the Katrina Sa'ade Letters collection within the Katrina Sa'ade project of the Planet Bethlehem Archive.
