Notes

This paper pioneers an innovative application of the concept of ontological uncertainty in order to overturn prevailing assumptions that public reactions to new technologies vary in an ad hoc or capricious way between national cultures. It instead builds a picture of much more systematic distinctions related to underlying features of political culture.
