Oxy-fuel gases and the working of steel
journal contribution
posted on 2023-06-09, 16:10 authored by Robert Gillespie of BlackhallThe formidable techniques of gas-cutting low-alloy steels has been widely used since the early 1900's, but the most important technological advances for fast, efficient cutting with machines are still new to many engineers. This is the second of two articles—the first was published in the Production Engineer in February this year—in which the technology is reviewed and some tips are given for successful and economical cutting.
