The objectives are as follows: The review aims to determine the effectiveness of written emotional disclosure for people with asthma. 1. To assess the overall efficacy of emotional disclosure compared to emotionally neutral writing in people with asthma on self reported quality of life. 2. To assess the overall efficacy of emotional disclosure compared to emotionally neutral writing in people with asthma on objective measures of health outcome. 3. To assess the comparative efficacy of different types of emotional disclosure for people with asthma.
