UK–India collaboration to identify the barriers to the transfer of low carbon energy technology: Final report

At Gleneagles in July 2005 the G8 highlighted the importance of strengthening technology cooperation between developed and developing nations to develop low carbon energy options. Many developing countries pressed for a new approach to international cooperation in the area of clean energy technologies. As a follow-up to this, the UK Government and the Government of India decided to collaborate on a study to assess the barriers to the transfer of low carbon energy technology between developed and developing countries.
